Pet Policy
We know your fur-babies are part of the family and we welcome dogs and cats to stay in one of our pet-friendly rooms.
- Pets are expected to be well-behaved, leashed in public areas and properly vaccinated.
- If you would like housekeeping services during your stay and chose to leave your pet in the room, please have them crated.
- Guests are responsible for the proper care, behavior and waste maintenance of their pets.
- Guests are responsible for all personal injuries and/or property damage related to their pet(s).
- Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Crystal Bay Hotel, its operators and owners and their respective affiliates from all liability, damage, cost and expenses suffered as a result of their pet(s).
- Pets are not permitted in the dining room or pool areas.
- Please provide a cell phone number in the event the hotel needs to reach you in relation to your pet(s). If your pet becomes disruptive, you may be required to make other arrangements at your expense.
- Guests traveling with pets must book a pet-friendly room. We have a select set of preferred-non-pet-friendly rooms that can be reserved, however these rooms will incur a $35/night fee for up to 2 pets. A third pet is an additional $15 per night, and fourth pet is another $15 per night. There is a maximum of 4 pets.
- Guests with pets who do not book a pet-friendly room may not have their reservation honored if there are no pet-friendly rooms available.
- Guests who bring pets into non-pet-friendly rooms without notifying the front desk with be charged $50 per night.
Check-in Terms
- Full payment is due at check-in.
- Credit card on file must match name on reservation, or a credit card authorization is required.
- All guests agree to honor hotel policies.
Smoking Policy
Crystal Bay is committed to providing a smoke-free environment for our guests and staff. There is no smoking of any kind permitted in the guest rooms, on the veranda, or within the hotel. Smoking of tobacco cigarettes only is permitted outside the library entrance in the garden area or on the 3rd-floor balcony. Guests who smoke inside their room or anywhere inside the hotel are subject to a $150 cleaning fee. Additionally, there is no burning of candles, incense, or fragranced oils permitted in the room.
Guest Satisfaction Policy
Upon arrival, or at anytime during your stay, if you are not completely satisfied with your stay at our hotel, you can cancel and receive a full refund for any unused nights.
Cancellation Policy
Guests can cancel and receive a full refund if cancellation is made by 4:00 pm at least 2 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged 1 night plus tax. Reservations made using non-refundable rates can be cancelled, but are not eligible for a refund.
Accessible Rooms
Crystal Bay Hotel has ADA compliant handicap accessible rooms for our guests that require them. If you need help booking one, please give us a call at (727) 914-7676 0r send us an email at [email protected]. The rooms include an ADA bathroom with rails by the toilet and a roll-in shower.
Entering the hotel
We have a wheelchair lift on the north side of the hotel for our guests who require them. Please call the front desk at (727) 914-7676 when you arrive and we will meet you at the lift to provide assistance.

There is a clear path from our handicap parking spots to the front of the hotel and then to the wheelchair lift on the north side. Once inside, there are clear paths to the front desk, elevator, library, and dining room.

Safe Service
We offer complimentary safe service for valuables upon request. We will hold the items securely in our corporate safe during your stay.
Gift Certificates
Our gift certificates have no expiration and no blackout dates. Guests must book direct with the hotel. Gift certificates are good towards nightly room rental. Not Redeemable for Cash. Not Refundable. Please treat this card like cash; it is not replaceable if lost, stolen or if used without authorization.
